Blue Ribbon
On Thursday, as Dave and I were sitting down to eat dinner, Jan called me. "Guess where I am?" I have no clue. "I'm at the Fair!....Guess what I'm looking at?" The quilt? "Guess what we got?" The booby prize? "No! You got a blue ribbon!" Boy, they really don't know how to judge do they? "Nope. They're just a bunch of amateurs." We both laughed. I guess Jan made her 50 cents! Tonight I have to pick it up from the Fair Grounds at 9:30 pm. I'll believe it when I see the blue ribbon.
