Ethan was baptised

Ethan was baptized yesterday. We are with Joe and Janette and their family in Nevada. We borrowed our good friends' motor home and drove it out. We left Thursday afternoon from Brigham City meeting up with Mindy, Clay and Leo for dinner. Clay left for Young Men and the rest of us headed for Nevada. We made it to Wendover and spent the night and headed out to Dayton on Friday. Other than cross winds and not as good a gas mile mileage as we'd hoped the trip was uneventful.

It's good to be here with them. Joe and Janette's children are all growing up. It's been a couple of years since we've been out to visit them. It's nice to spend time with grandchildren. They're real good to "Grandpa". It does take a lot of energy to keep up with them, especially two year old Katherine Isabella. She's very independent and will only do what she decides.

It really was good to be here for Ethan's baptism. Joe did a good job performing the ordinances. Ethan was happy to be baptized and confirmed. It's a real privilege to receive baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. I think we take blessings of the gospel for granted. How fortunate we are.
